Cats
I like cats, and the next time you visit, I'll show you pictures of my cats! (Sorry.......haven't had time to scan em yet.)
I have cats all over the place. Two indoor cats who have learned how to open the patio door screen and can get out whenever they want to! (I only wish they would close the door when they exit!) *G*
Both of them are alley cats, so I guess I'll never be able to teach them any manners!
Cruz is a solid black cat and to make him look tough, we put a chain around his neck. He is pretty mean. He ripped the ear of the dog next door and we had a real crisis on our hands.
Blood dripping everywhere........it's a good thing that Mark Fuhrman wasn't around, or he would have discovered that blood too!!!!!! Only difference is, I probably would have been in jail right now instead of playing golf on the PUBLIC courses!!!! hahahahaha (I just couldn't resist that little tidbit!) We'll talk OJ later!!!!!
My other indoor cat is named "Jesse"! My niece named him. We found him when he was just a little kitten hanging around the railroad track out east of town. Of course, being the soft heart that I am, we brought him home. Now, I have my nieces cat visiting permanently. Jesse talks to me. NO, I don't mean in English.....I mean in cat Language. *G* Everytime I say his name, he answers with a sweet "Meow" and when I ask him a question, he answers with another sweet "Meow". I understand exactly what he means. But I'm sorry to say....I can't divulge any cat language to humans. Hey, I'm sorry, but I took an oath not to reveal cat secrets about them being able to communicate.
I have a part time indoor resident. Her name is "Little Bud". We always thought that Little Bud was a "Bud", but about 8 weeks ago, we realized that he
was a she and he was NOT getting fat from overeating cat treats! Little Bud had three kittens in the storage room. One day, there was this horrible odor easing itself out of the room. I discovered that there were two dead kittens in the room. Little Bud had moved the remaining kitten under our bed in the bedroom. So now, I am currently in the process of trying to get "Bud Light" to use the kitty litter box. Wanna kitten? all trained and sweet as can be?
And now to the outdoor cats................Well, they seem to visit once in awhile. They eat their food here if there is any left after the birds decide to raid the bowl. One cat is named "Fuzzy Mommy" (NOT Little Bud's mom, but Slick's mom), and one is named "Slick" (daughter of Fuzzy Mommy and Grandkat to BudLight *G*G*)........We also thought Slick was a male until HE showed with with Little Bud in tow! I guess you ask........Why doesn't that woman check their undersides to see what sex those cats are?????? Well, I would, but most of the outside cats are wild.......They never let me touch them........I guess they think I'm some big thing who just is supposed to provide this unending supply of food and water. Talk about Ungrateful!!!!! And no amount of "cat language" can persuade them to get close enough to pet!
I also have two other cats.....I think they are males because they very rarely show up to eat.........they must be "Casanovas"..............I just hope THEY don't start bringing home kittens too!!!!! But then, if they did.....I'd be rich!!!!!!
Oh yes........we also have a dog named Roscoe. You'll hear more about him next time you visit.
